I do this also but I use a test light in series instead of a volt/ohm/amp meter.

Now that I think more about it, I believe I’m thinking of the turn signal lever attaching screw might be where I adjusted the torque. I think you are right about this and my roadrunner could be the same as your A100.

I’m not reading his issue as the flashers being the only problem. Maybe I’m wrong. And yes, I read.

My 69 roadrunner has a threaded screw through the center to secure it.

I had an issue similar to this. I was able to track it down to the turn signal switch either being too tight or loose. I put a mirror behind my car and tightened the screw to where everything was working correctly. For me, the right amount of torque on the turn signal switch was the key...

I am going to order an AAW kit for my 55 Bel Air. It is recommended to get their crimpers too.

Looks to me you have a bad voltage regulator. I have never had a Powermaster go bad in the past 20 plus years I've owned them.

Are you saying the horn button fits directly to the contact assembly? It seems to us that something is missing.

How does this horn button attach to a 1968 roadrunner standard steering wheel please?

Check your turn signal switch if everything aforementioned is ok.

The Chrysler starter caught a lot of flack due to its sound but what I never understood why the old GM starter got a pass. That thing sounded like a tin can full of marbles and chewed many starter ring gears to pieces.

I only like the sound but I have a mini starter on my car so no AAA road service needed.

If I like the old nostalgic direct drive Mopar starter whine does that make me a purist?
