The only reason that I'm partial to the AVS2 Edelbrocks is because they're so darned easy to tune.
You can do everything from the top without spilling fuel all over the intake, and the complete jet
kit is about $80.00. 750cfm for cruising and 800cfm for "Mashing" it as was stated before! Merry...
And be careful with static electricity or you'll blow yourself up! If you want to get all the way to the back
of the tank on a B Body, use nylon ties and a straight piece of dowel rod about 36" long to get to the
lowest spot and siphon it out.
Yes, I agree, take out the push rod and check the length! The stock push rods were heat
treated correctly but the "Chinesium" ones were not and could ruin your cam and make
metal filings travel through your engine.
Yeah, they'll work, but: I bought them and then decided that I wanted to add a return line and a
vapor separator like so many here have recomended. Then an in-line fuel filter. You get the point?
I ended up buying a fuel seperator and an edelbrock banjo fuel line inlet with the filter and the...
My opinion mirrors the above post except that because you chose a single plane intake that probably doesn't
fit under the hood, you're going to race the car. In that case you'll need 1100cfm or there abouts.
My 68 GTX June build Auto never had a return line on it, but it has one now and a vapor seperator.
The gas now will boil faster than the Sunoco 260 of the "Olden Days". Why ask for trouble?
Thought I wanted EFI until I read the posts of car dying and had to be towed for big money.
Not easy to troubleshoot when you are " Found On Road Dead" and don't know WTF went wrong.
Until they get their **** together, it's a carburetor for me & my "X".
I have a 68 GTX and I went with a stainless tank because of the water that will probably sit at the bottom of the tank
and corrode and eat a hole in the tank. Great gas we have nowadays! Anyway, I only like to do things once!
Have a Lawyer draft a letter and send that to them! Registered mail. tell them that you want damages in the amount of
$500.00 for clean-up of the mess. You probably WILL get the money, and they will pay attention! Sorry they don't care.
We will remember and I for one will not buy from them. Too...
I would contact them and talk to someone of great importance to let them know what they are selling.
DO NOT send them back to them! Keep them for reference in case someone's investment here goes up
in smoke! Like what was said before, "Chinese Crap"!
