You are probably right but I've never seen one of that style switches used as a defrost switch... But I've seen a Top switch that was crusty & didn't act like it was spring loaded till I took it apart & cleaned it....
He says it's not spring loaded. So doesn't make it a defrost switch. The convert switch is spring loaded. The top stops when you let go of it.

That difficult part is getting rid of the rest of the motor home there days once you remove the engine and trans. Most junk/salvage yards will not take them any longer.

Yes I stand corrected, I knew that it went around window or the other. I had not yet put mine in my car, but I would have figured it out that it would not go where I thought it would. My Charger is the first 68 b body that I restored so there is a learning curve.
Actually it's a rear window switch for a station wagon which is also used as a power top switch for a convertible.... And yes, it is a fairly rare Mopar part...
Hey lads , I'm getting a whining sound mainly under acceleration 30-40)mph.
It ain't real bad but yea I can hear it over the exhaust... she just recently started doing this ..pull the diff or try changing oil first?
Not a Mopar.... But I too changed the fuel filler on one of my cars...
Common problem, fuel pours out of the filler & stains the paint....
