    Legendary Upholstery alternatives?

If it were mine I’d just replace that section with a piece of cathide. Seriously, contact Legendary and see if they would be willing to replace that one section in a reasonable amount of time or just buy a piece of material from them and have someone else make the repair.

I looked upon Maaco in much the same light. Many a time in young years I'd think of whatever heap I was running around in "I'll get it ready for paint, take all the trim off and such, then take it to...." Never did it though.

Steering wheel 90 degrees off to the the left after centering all steering components

Checked with Norms Speed shop on the steering shaft and he says that the keyed spline in the coupler and keyed spline on the steering wheel should be aligned with each other. Mine appears to be 90 degrees off.

Look what came in the mail today

I got a precursor of this 25 years ago, when my corporate employer decided to go all in with automated manual transmissions on all new trucks. Smart thing would have been to try out a small sampling, and see if it worked. Hubris of the owner just about put the company under, but he wanted...

Curious for Opinions Here - What Percentage of Project Cars Actually Get Completed?

Things were sure different when I tackled the 1st restoration; no internet, lots of reading Hemmings and car magazines. Always looking forward to the next edition of Hemmings to find parts and going to the swap meets. Then lucky I got to know a guy who had tons of NOS parts for my car, president...

Curious for Opinions Here - What Percentage of Project Cars Actually Get Completed?

I've seen this trend in my small local Mopar community in central Pennsylvania. A fairly high percentage of the premium big block cars survived, helped by the high number of barns on local farms. However, I know of none that have stayed in the family being finished. On the other hand, cars...

There were two emblems that could be used. Just "V8" emblem for a 273 or 318 engine. A "Commando V8" emblem for 361, 383, or 426. Between front wheel and door was emblem "Belvedere II"
