You can just install a gasket and just snug the bolts. That way you will not ruin a gasket. Lots of guys will reuse them. Myself I do not. You can measure the thickness of the new gasket and subtract the compressed thickness and use that number to subtract from the P to V.

You can just add the compressed thickness of the head gasket to the desired length of the push rod. Lots of videos out there on piston to valve measuring.

Found these engine mount brackets buried deep on one of the storage shelves, out in the garage. Haven't got a clue to what year(s) they may fit, bit i am assuming they are small block mounts. Anyone care to look at these pictures, and tell me what they are for. Thank's a lot. Jim V. hemi71x

Since I'm kind of color blind, I've always thought the column was a Burgundy/purplish color.......The wife told me the column was a redish/brown. Her an I have had many many talks about colors....she knows we do not see them the same way ( she trys to understand).....maybe if I paint the car...
