Stick your finger in the various holes and feel around for severe pitting and potentially thin spots inside the frame rails.

Are you really sure that you want to take it apart? Clean and lube it if you can. It doesn't look like it sat outside for 50 years in the weather. I had a regular set of bucket seats, they were so rusted and pitted, I chose to replace the tracks. Sandblasted the rest and repainted.
