But what was the tire pressure during the tests. The presdure mudt be within 0.05 lbs front to back differrnce. One degree (1° +/-) will make no difference.....must be a perceived difference rather than a physical difference possibly due to air density or temperature or fuel...

Here's what they look like in pieces. Might be a broken cable. Loose nuts on the rod and levers assemblies can cause sloppiness.

It's a big block for sure with the distributor and oil filter towards the front of the engine. So 400,413,440. I got a forged steel crank 413 and a 440 from old motor homes.

Cast crank Big Block for sure. Is that an 4brl to 2brl adaptor plate under that carb? Hard for me to see but sure looks like it.
