    Welcome from NY. I'd start with the brakes first. The original single pot master cylinder can be replaced with a dual 1967 up style pretty easily. You'll need a conversion block for the extra brake line. I would definitely replace the rubber lines and suggest getting a kit for the hard lines...

    Carter BBD. Pull it off, look inside, get a kit. ...and some varnish remover/cleaner. Check the sister site ForABodiesOnly. Most A body cars came with 273/318 engines.

    That is the problem. I don't know. On the carb apears 6-1976, the rest I've been looking on the internet for what I can find or understand about it I will have more info on saturday, because is when i go to coutry house and he is there.

    Ok, so I checked the hoses while running - seem good. Checked flow in pump - hard to see, but I do see flow. In regards to bleeding - I jacked car up and while not running, cycled steering gear about 20 times, then while still having the front wheels off the ground, started the car and cycled...

    I'm trying to get my first car which is a 66 Plymouth Belvedere back on the road. (I had it for 28 years) I decided to stick with the 2 bbl carburetor. What 2 bbl carb for a 273 is recommended? Any other suggestions for the car? Any certain plug/wires would best for the 273? etc. thanks.
