Felpro 8519SP and 8519PT1 Head gaskets.

I have to purchase a cam and lifters before I can get any information on piston to valve clearance. Being as though I do not know what the previous cam was I'm thinking about the 484 Purple cam from Mancini So once I purchase that and the lifters I should be able to get some accurate measurements.

For the love of bondo! what did you do!?

so I figured I'd share my progress on my 68 wagon.. the "restorers" had a love of pop rivets, bondo and jb weld.. I knew it had bondo in it, it was cheap enough and looked good enough, and the important parts weren't rusty. so I bought it. well. if I could sum up how the car was "restored"...

    Its running a little rough...

Interesting. Like the Brawler carb, this pump looks brand new also. I'm going to have some questions in a few for the experts. I don't have time right now to unpack everything but give me until a little later.

    Its running a little rough...

First time looking underneath. Probably would have been a good idea to do this up front, but opportunities are opportunities. Fortunately, I was pretty lucky. For the most part. Looks like the passenger side muffler didn't appreciate the plug wires being installed in the wrong order.

    Dry start engine oil priming

New engine or well "varnished" time piece. The engine in my Bee was rebuilt in 1978 for 300 bucks. I have never primed it before start, even after it sat 14 years in my marine container before I restored it. Still runs like a swiss watch...
