440 six pack with Roller Cam

Previously posted about my six pack motor partially eroding one lobe on a solid lifter cam. Had just gone to a stiffer valve spring on the Eddy heads that I put on it. So now after putting in a Lunati Roller cam, changing the oil and filter 3 times, the motor is running great! Took it to...

440 six pack car for Super Stock

Does anyone know how well the six pack cars did, or can do in NHRA Super Stock? I am researching the idea of a 440 six pack RR in that class. Any ideas? Is there a chance that one could be competitive in todays world of hi flow 4 barrel intakes? I've heard that the six pack intake can't flow...

    69 RR six pack value.

Any idea what an original 69 RR 383 car that has been cloned into a 440 six pack car would be worth? Really straight body, no rust auto, 8 3/4 rear with 4.11 gears.

ID of an A 12 car

Is there any way to tell if a Roadrunner or any B Body car was originally an A 12 car? My fender tag is gone, but it had a 440 and a re pop six pack hood on it when I got it. I have the VIN number. It is RM 23H9E138940. Does this indicate anything? It is a console and auto trans, with the 8 3/4...

    Six Pack Roadrunner Clone

I bought a 69 RR last summer out of Riverside Ca which had a 440 installed with with a 6 pack hood and auto trans. Although it was originally a 383 car, I have decided the next step would be to put a 6 pack intake on it and clone it into a 440 6 bbl Roadrunner. So this will be a thread to...

    440 six pack set up

I have a 1969 Roadrunner with the 6 pack F/Glass hood. 440 Engine, 4 barrel. I want to convert it to a 440 6 pack. I suppose you would call it a tribute car. So it will be a 1969 440 six pack Roadrunner, although not factory produced. Where would be the best place to buy the parts, and has...

    69 RR 6 pak hood

How can you determine if a F/G hood is a true factory A 12 hood? Just bought a 69 RR, and this hood looks just like an A 12 hood. It even has the rectangular shaped area on the bottom side of the hood, that seals to the air filter base. Are there any factory stampings or moldings to look for...
