all of my lights are dim and flicker slightly untill i rev it a bit higher.
i replaced the alt with a high amp one i put a new voltage regulator on and sanded the body where it sits for better ground,ran a heavy hot wire from the alt hot to the hot on the starter relay to help reduce the load...
i have what i need to replace them.whats the easiest way to install them without breaking anything.
it looks tough to reach from underneath with the cluster still in.
i dont want to pull that round electrical plug if i dont have too.im afraid of it breaking.
can i pull the cluster far enough...
mine is falling down .
it has ribs that seem to hold up sections but some of them are failing too.
it seems like the liner is particle board or something similar.
its stiff and i dont think i can get it to go back into shape.

we put a new alternator on the 318 in my 67 coronet wagon.i loosened the lower bolt that holds the adjuster bracket for the alt adjustment.
it started dripping coolant and when i tightened it back up it still drips.i removed the 4.5 in 3/8 bolt and coolant came pouring out the hole.

the one with the external coil not the chevy big cap type.

its got a long tailshaft trans and i assume a truck oilpan.its also got 2wd truck headers on it.

its much slower than the other side.
i havent done anything at all with it yet but i was thinking of pulling the bulb and grounding a test light somewhere else to see if the test light goes ant faster.

my wagon came with some bucket seats from i dont know what.it also came with a bench seat which is in good condition but its got a few tears and the fabbric is worn.
it seems pretty expensive to recover it properly.

with your help i fixed my dash lights by changing the headlight switch.(now the headlights wont come on but ill figure that out)
my dash lights are weak and some are out.
can i change them without removing the cluster or should i just remove it?
