Removing the drive pulley from a Sanden compressor?

I have R&Rd many RV-2 pulleys but, the Sanden is new to me. Any special tools required here? I need to remove part or all of the rear V groove for a clearance issue. I am only using a single belt drive. Mike

    More Evaporator Plumbing

I thought I would post more photos of the under-fender hose routing currently completed. I used 18 gauge galvanized strap from my stash, sleeved with clear plastic tubing for the support clamp brackets. All grommets are from V.A. I used split loom conduit for armoring the hoses. The A/C hoses...

    FYI heater hoses.

Just wanted to let you fellas know that some Dodge Dakota models used heater hoses with a molded in 90* on one end. 5/8" size so it might provide a cleaner appearance on your engine. Mike

1965 Coronet heater hose routing with factory A/C?

My 318 heater hose routing does not seem correct. The right valve cover has a hose bracket on it but the hoses are routed on the left side. Nothing on A/C routing in FSM. Anyone have a photo of a factory original setup? Thanks! Mike

    Refrigerant oil?

I am flushing and resealing the OEM A/C system on my 65 Coronet and am not having any luck finding a recommendation for what weight PAG oil to use in the old V-twin. Should I use the dip stick to check fill level as in the FSM? I have found that I should back off the EPR valve adjustment screw...

    Fin Comb

Hi fellas, I just received the fin comb I ordered to straighten the boo boos in my A/C condenser and it is not working like I thought it would. The condenser fins are wavy so this tool wants to flatten them out and that's not right! Has anyone here had any luck with these fin combs or did I just...

    Fine service-NOT!

Just a little rant: I picked up my boiled out, inspected, painted, with new OF hose radiator for my 1965 Coronet today. Told the owner: treat it like it was yours. Well the shop guy loaded it in my truck and we (wife driving-I'm in a neck brace and can't drive) drive the 35 miles back home. As I...

    Rebuilding A/C Compressor

I'm looking for sources of economical parts to reseal my 65 Dodge compressor. I found some E-Bay seals and I'm wondering about part number superseding. The original PN is:1426501 but I see several that look like the correct seal listed as: 3847916. Can anyone elaborate on these numbers? I'm...

    Longer radiator hoses?

What are my options for radiator hoses for my 65 Belvedere with engine set back? Stock upper for big block is 2 3/4" short from reaching the radiator. I have found a hose I can cut to make the lower but, nothing for the upper. Mike

Electric water pump and power steering?

I would like to run a Meziere water pump with a Saginaw PS pump. Bouchillon tells me: no dice. "Electric W.P.s are for race cars and race cars don't use P.S." Does anyone have experience in this matter that they would share? Thanks guys!
