1963 Plymouth Fury or Sport Fury

fury or Sport Fury because of trim ??

About this Mopar:

1963 Fury numbers matching 318/727 excellent shape.. engine, trans and chassis rebuilt .. floors like new, think they did a body off as the frame is painted with new bushings, suspension and fuel tank and lines.. bucket white interior is in very condition ..new carpet and headliner.. new dual exhaust and changed over to a 4 bbl. .. brake drum car with 17" Riddler rims and new rubber..... great quality driver that I would call a 3 footer ..the paint is new body is an 8 out of 10 some imperfections, BUT no rust.. but it won't be in the garage long, will be FOR SALE soon.. I'm on my quest for my bucket list '68 Charger, so I have to buy and sell beauties like this ..

Hate the friggin winter :cursin: we all do :mob:

44070Dart. As far as I know, your Fury is a regular Fury. Not a Sport. It would have Sport Fury written on the fenders and most likely a Big Block.

Yeah, it says sport fury on fender trim, but the vin shows it's a fury.. I was told by one of the members about vin number difference

Weird how it says Sport Fury on the trim, BUT V.I.N. shows a regular Fury. The things that make ya wonder. Does the V.I.N. have an H for the high model line in it? Your V.I.N. is probably completely different than the later year Fury.

No letters in vin.. prior owner thought it unusual that it has a clock in it ? I don't know about that. I figured someone liked the trim and put it on. the vin has the 3 not 4 so it's a fury. Anyway, it is very clean should sell soon as weather clears up I would think.

I believe clocks were optional on all years. I'm not to familiar with those year cars. I would think a Sport Fury would have a big block and not small. Anyway best of luck with the sale of it. Nice chatting with you.

that car is a beauty!
I agree with earlier comment on Sport Fury - you would also see Sport Fury logo inside the door panel. Fury or Sport - still awesome!
