1964 Dodge Polara in progress

About this Mopar:

My car is a 64 Polara 2DHT. Lived formerly as a mild mannered 318. Will soon be reborn as a 426 wedge (also 64 vintage) at 438 CID. It will have 915 heads with Manley valves. Comp cam/ lifters and springs. 750 Holley 2X pumper. Hedman headers. The rotating assembly has just been balanced and the engine is nearly done. It will be married to a 727 transmission, which will be kept true to period with its original push buttons. Trans is a Cope racing unit. Rear is 8 3/4 with 3.91 suregrip.

I just painted the car (basecoat/clearcoat) bright white that will contrast with black interior. I just finished all the wet sanding and will buff it out soon. I have included a few photos.
