We bought Max in 1982 and still have it. Original engine and transmission were missing and replaced with a 400 and a 727 barely bolted down, but it got me home from the purchase.
It is a original 440 4 speed Dana 60(still in it)

l and still had my `67 500 that is the car that sold me on I loved `67s.
We found Max in Colorado Springs one night while cruising, it had a for sale sign in so I chased him down and made a deal of $1,350.00 . That`s the most I paid for any car before. GULP !!

Added a pic as of last year when I took it to the track for some fun. I am hooked on drag racing now.
