1969 Super Bee The few things that are done

About this Mopar:

:icon_axe:I Decided to paint the car F8 Green to match my Fathers Super Bee he bought in 1969, With a White Stripe and Top. It was the first car I learned to work on motors, and at one point in my life I had the chance to buy it, 1979, but decided to by the 1970 Road Runner instead, by far better shape. Saw it again about 3 years later in Curly's Junk yard......It was about 16 inches tall. I still regret not getting it.
Got the engine compartment done to put the motor in and fire it up. But, decided that the amount of work to be done on the body would just end up coating it in all kinds of things. The Compartment was in many pieces, and the suspension was fun to clean, it took a month just to get the suspension down to metal. Yeah I know about Media Blasting.
The engine was the easiest thing to get together. Had to find a few parts being I hadn't been playing in cars for awhile. Now the only thing I need is to find another lift off hood aircleaner, but at a reasonable price. This one is correct for a lift off hood (69 !/2 car for those that don't know). But the previous owner put it under a stock hood so plasma cut the base, and pounded the top cap so it would clear. IT Sucks that some one could not think of a better way to approach it. Oh WeLL.
