1973 Sebring RR Tribute

About this Mopar:

318 with roller cam and 727 trans.. 9 1/4 rear with 410 sure grip going in.. 625 CFM Carb, full headers.. Virgina car. This past winter a few of my upgrades were a new fuel system front to back including fuel regulator, and gauge white faced overlays in instrument panels, red LED lights, front/rear shocks, new dash cap and floor mats, added stock mirrors painted same color as stripes and wing.. I have 410 gears coming (sure grip), an extra 318 (stock) while one in it gos to machine shop for upgrades and then the right TQ converter for drive train.. Few other things but depends on $$, as with most all you i imagine, fuel alone is a big payment per month, and with 410 ratio im sure will be worse but worth it. :eusa_think: I was told when i joined here that i would have been better off telling all its a real RM car, I didn't, and yes its a clone, and a LOT of fun, cruising and upgrading. The only real value i put on this car is the pleasure it brings me!

Thank you sir! FUN, Thats why its here it was supposed to be a quick turn around and make a few bucks. More i did the more i liked it, Now its here for the life of the owner. I think without looking, yours is the 69 RR, one of my all time favorite cars, i had the 68 thru 70 back in a time when fall came, you didn't put them in hibernation, you checked the anti freeze and dug snow tires out. lol.

Thank you much! MAGNUM. If it came to me with the flat hood, it would have been much different but now after driving and looking out over the hood, i don't think i would want the change the looks but if a repaint comes, it wont be a RR clone, there's other ways to make them look good with striping ive seen and do like them.

Awsome ride there Ron..ive tried so hard to get ahold of ya but im having difficulty w/my computer..4 PM,Ssent to you all didnt go through.God Bless You my freind..and to Your Family,Ron..Bear R.-(Barry).PS.ill get a PM sent somtime..you wouldve liked what i tried to send you too.oh well i will asap..take care Brother..

Thanks Rave_12000 and Bear R. Next make over, IF i do it, wont be any stripes or decals, at least nothing to suggest Road Runner.. I even thought about locating a flat hood, I cant do that now though, kind of used to looking out over it and now, i like it...

Wow, Great job, I have a 73 clone im working on too. This is some good motivation for me. Thanks for posting!!! Rich

I was debating whether to put a wing on mine, Looks really good on yours! There Red/White was a 400 auto 73' Beeper here in Saint John NB a few years back. I think it got sold to a fellow in Nova Scotia, not sure after that. It had a big Plymouth (Superbird) logo down each quarter panel and had a rough white interior, but really drew a crowd with the color combo. Mine is a 74' and doesn't have the two little glilles in the back of the hood, was that a 73' only thing??

Yes, I do believe that the vent holes are in the 73 and 74 doesn't have them, or, i have it backwards! Its the hood that came on the car so im not sure but think just the 73 had them.. Thanks for the kind words, Makes all the work and time in it worth a little more when you know someone else likes the way you do the car.

Thanks much Bluedog! Some do not care for the younger gen of RR's and this is a clone so yet another point backwards, But i really like them and im in the process now of another project, my 73 will this spring have to sleep outside for a year or more, (trust me MORE :) ) But will be a welcome addition to my "Mopar drive small shop garage" and i had my own way, I would NOT sell or trade this to get another..Again, thanks it makes the 6 years on it mean more! Actually my health and life's problems slowed it to a 6 year project.

had one in black stripes delete .....black on black,, no vinyl...love these..!
my buddy bought it new my kid cracked it up...drear's

Black on black sounds good Sonny, Show us some pictures if you have any, back in the old days i wasn't much of a picture taker myself and now, i wish i would have been!
