Never seen trunk with that stripping before (wife don't let me out much)
I don't hate it
Which must mean I like it a lot.
Luv to see more pics.

Thanks, I was experimenting with different stripes & colors, I'm not sure I will use them on final paint. I do like the red accents & gloss black on the bottom of the car that will be part of the new paint.

Thanks Budnicks. I love 68 RRs. esp the tail lights and love all 68's for the round side markers.

based on "description area above" it looks like you stroked the 383. I've thought about putting a LB stroker 383 or 400 back in my RR (44O 6 BBL motor now) car for the weight savings and a little extra room for exhaust. If you've had comparable stock 440's how would you say they compare power and torque wise by seat of the pants?

tallhair; yep it's a 0.040"over @ 4.290" 383 block I've done several of them had pretty good luck... but a larger bore block, like the 400 low deck with a "std bore of 4.34" or larger" or a 440's 4.32" & up, will give you more cubic inches for the same money, or less, more combos available with out ordering custom pistons, for the 383 stroker, the larger bore will also allow the heads to flow "a little better & make slightly higher power"... but the 383 stroked is a decent combo, if you use good hardware & studs, plus a block girdle, which I would recommend on any 2 bolt main Mopar Big Block 361-440 B or RB...The 400 B-Low deck Block is a slight bit stronger in the main bearing web area too, even stroker than the 440 blocks...

Nice 68 Budnicks! also like the area where you live. hopefully 1 day i will also be living in surroundings like that. just tired of the city life i guess.

Thanks 69roadr, I got fed up with the flat lander inner-city mentality too, my Pops has lived up here for 40 years now... I like it most of the time...
