You know it is expensive to restore one of these old car's. But I cant stop now. Like all of you said I am really close to getting it on the road. Down to wiring and finishing this thing. It is not hard to drop a thousand every time I order part's or more. So I admire all the guy's that have brought these car's back form the ashes. Think I can add to my Garage and keep you guy's up on where I am at on the build.
Keep kickin *** Brother .

You know if I start mine before you that is different.

Thanks too all for your comment's. Now the motor is running and can't wait to give it a spin down the road. Shooting for my birth day June 10. Been saying that for a few years. But it will happen this year. Wish me luck.

Great job Blue, wish you the very best. Mike

Just to up date you guy's the bird is out of it's cage. LOL. Drove it on the 10/13/21. Motor run's fine except for some jerky ness when at speed. It has plenty of power but just has hesitation to it. Thought it might be the timing but found out had some loose clamps on the fuel line. Spotted air in my fuel filter. So went through and tighten up the hose clamps at the fuel tank and fuel pump where I have short flex lines to connect all the steel line's now it run's fine no more jerky feeling when cruising at normal speed. Will up date my garage soon.

Like most of you guy's know we are never really done. Up grade exhaust or something else. But for now going to drive the heck out of it and show the world these cars are still alive after fifty year's. Oh by the way cragar SS mag's are on my list next with Mickey Thompson white letter tires.

Looks great so far. They are never really done, I've got years of work ahead for mine. A little here and there.

Here that Riverdawg. Sure you will get it to look and drive like you want. 5 year's is a long time but just would not give up. Appreciate the good word. It is done just cosmetic stuff now. LOL. Want to tint back window with roadrunner in mirror finish script that I can see through. Oh well each to his own.

Yeah, I've learned from a couple friends. one took 18 years to get his 69 Charger R/T finished. Nut and bolt redo into a day 2 look.

Say Riverdawg do you have a garage posted here. Like to see the car also.
I do but it's out of date. Here is my build thread but it's also out of date. Busy life anymore. https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/getting-the-65-in-driving-order.114185/#post-910467574
Here's the garage. Hope to take some time to update one of the this fall. https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showcase/member/riverdawg.12827/

But he must have had to work and life goes on. The car takes second place when we have a lot of things other than the car on our plate. This is one job I stuck with till the finish. Nothing but the car because I am retired and wanted to get it done before I was not able to do it.
