Doug's 1971 Satellite Sebring Plus
About this Mopar:
I bought Sherwood down in Tennessee in Jan of 2005 near Chattanooga. I was searching for a Sebring Plus 383 car because I had one right after I graduated in 1975. The car was complete and very solid since it spent it's life in Georgia & Tennessee. It ran just well enough to load on my trailer for it's trip back to Ohio.
Over the next 2 1/2 years I completed a nut and bolt restoration. The only thing I did not do was actually spay the base coat & clear coat.
During assembly I decided not to put back on the car was the 1/2 vinyl top and the stainless rocker molding (which I still have and maybe someday). In May of 2021 she'll be 13 years since I completed it and it still looks just as good as the day it was done.
Me and the wife have had a lot of ice cream Sundays with Sherwood.
