About this Mopar:
I bought this 69 RR in April this year. Owner wasn't around to answer any questions. No fender tag or build sheet. I'm sure it was originally black; but under the hood shows blue. (?) The bumper must be off a 68 because there are no backup lights. All the wiring for them are tapped up behind the bumper. I'm sure the car was originally a 383, 727 trans. Previous owner put in a 440 with a big cam (how big, don't know yet), dana rear end (don't know the gear radio yet), stall converter. Casting number on the side of the block indicates that the engine was casted sometime after 1972. The engine has always run, but when I first got the car there were no brake lights or turn signals; and nothing worked on the dash except the speedometer (odometer shows 82K). I've got the brake lights, turn signals, and dash lights working. Still don't have a fuel or temp. gauge. So far, I've replaced the following: front shocks, starter, exhaust manifold gaskets, bulkhead wiring block, headlight - dimer- washer switches and the board on the back side of the instrument cluster. Still need to replace a sprung oil pan (aftermarket, hangs super low and it hit something). Small amount of rust in the trunk that needs attention along with the right door. The door has a bunch of cracks around the door handle (body filler) and the rear window needs to be pulled to take care of the bottom corners. But I'm in love with the car and enjoy working on her.
