i did not do it myself...i went to a local company that does vehicle wraps, usually sign company can do...we used matte black vinyl wrap, 2 yards. and about 3hrs of labor. it cost me $250

Never thought about doing the stripes this way, good idea, I like it! And if you don't like them down the road they can be removed much easier than paint.
