New to me 1966 Plymouth Satellite.

About this Mopar:

its taken me the better part of 12 - 18 months to be able to pull that trigger. But pull I did last Monday.
Car is on a transporter now being shipped from Cincinnati Ohio to Vail AZ .

Been wanting this very car for years and the owner finally decided it was time to let it go.
It is an original black with red interior car, 426 hemi , console auto. rear axle was updated to a 1966 Dana with 3.54s during the restoration.
Was pretty bare bones as built. Only changes made during the restoration were , manual steering was changed to power. Clear glass was changed to tinted, including an nos windshield was installed at the time.

still retains stock manual drum brakes, no radio .

I'll be on the lookout for a set of the correct 1966 spinner hubcaps ( a set of 14" steel wheels came with it in boxes in the trunk for the ride )

Car wasn't cheap by any means. But compared to sales I've seen the past year on similar cars. I stole it . either way,,,,,,,,My piggy bank will never be the same .

Ive been good friends with the owner for the better part of 30 years or more. I actually have history with this car as I help during the restoration to put it all back together
When he bought this car as a project , I told him then that if / when he decided to sell. Please give me first crack at it. And he did.

Congrats on your purchase and work staying in touch for 30 years. Looks like a beauty! Have a '66 Satellite myself, but no
Hemi ! Might as well enjoy your money now, cause you know we can't take it with us, and only God knows what is coming tomorrow! ENJOY!

Congrats! Looks sharp!! Took me a similar amount of time to find mine. Your interior looks just like mine. Do you have any pics of the back seat area?

Thanks all.
We took the car for a Sunday drive yesterday up to the top pf Mt Lemmon here in Tucson. Turned out to be a killer day for a cruise
