About this Mopar:

IMG_0455 1.JPG
I'm trying to do everything as close to original as possible and I'm using the original parts, bolts and nuts as far as it make sense.

Due to winter driving in Sweden the first years and without proper rust protection there have been quite some work with the body.

I you see anything that diverts from original, please let me know.

The history of the car is:

There will be more history of the car, e.g. what day it was sold in Sweden to an TV-serie actor. There have been in total three owners.

Sine a couple of years I've made a "total" overhaul, i.e. from dismantling the washer fluid pump to the automatic transmission. Every single bolt is brushed and painted. The original fuel line is blastered and painted etc, etc ....

Maybe it can be classified as stupidity to put all that work in saving original parts when it is cheeper and quicker to buy replicas but it's like a meditative project doing this.

When it comes to weather stripping I have chosen new productions before NOS due to the ageing of all rubber and plastic products. I don't trust 50 year old rubber even though it has been stored properly.

Most of the parts that is not original are the ones inside the engine and transmission and external easy to change parts for the next owner who wants to ride around with e.g. diagonal tyres. :)

I tried to add some of the 500+ pictures I have taken. Unfortunately it doesn't work right now so that will be next time.
