Personally I would not touch the car, particularly with any type of customization thought in mind. Sooner or later we sell our cars. How broad is the market for a customized '73 Dodge? Is the car a 2 or 4 door? If it is a 4 door, I definitely wouldn't touch it. I would put my time, efforts and money into another project that would allow me to recover some of the money [we seldom get it ALL back] invested. I am not trying to offend....just stating my opinion.
If you are at all concerned about "recovering money", get out of any hobby. If you enjoy the hobby have fun and enjoy it. A low mile original car keep original, have fun either way

I was speaking in terms of recovering money to re-invest into the next project. I have made money on several cars since I began this hobby over 40 years ago. Perhaps I was taken out of context and, it was my personal opinion, that's all.
thanks for the comments and that's usually what most people say is to keep it all original and I don't look on getting any money out of it there is no market for a four door these are things I know I ll try to post more pics but yea I figured keep it stock and I don't plan on selling its got a great story behind it

Keep it stock. The 2:71 gears are really nice on the highway. I have a black '72, but with 122K miles. It would be nice to come across a 400/727 and install it but then you'd have to put in a 8 3/4 rear and the cost would not be recouped.
Just do what you feel. A little bit of this, and that. It's all good. Sometimes people get into an old car hobby thinking they can flip their car for big money.
