Sound deading spay on was home made. The steering up graded to rack and pinon, the rear end suspension up graded to front coil over four point and with 4 wheel disk brakes. The engine was due some minor upgrades, switch to an electric water pump, electric ignition, in house widen and polished the intake and exhaust ports to match the gaskets and replaced and upgraded the valve springs to 325 lb double ones, installed high volume oil pump and increased the oil pan capacity, ditched the Micky Thompson valve covers, replaced beaten into place headers with ITT headers chromed and ceramic lined ones. The transmission was custom rebuild by Mountain Missile Al out of Gorham NH and a Gear Vender over under over drive is going to be added.

More later

Now later
Here are some old photos of the body holes and patches, we welded all the seams in the car where it once was spot welded and then everything was primed.
Then 1/28/2020 we lowered the body over the motor and transmission mounted on the K frame and bolted it to the car to check fit and see if the tunnel needs some more beating for the Gear vendor under over, looks like a little more hammer work.
Last but not least we fitted the left fender for a first fit and look see. You can see not to bad really.

Sweet looking ride. Yep lot's of work done. Hope you get her done so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Good job.

Very nice looking car. Think it was a good move to put the roof insulation in for sure. I did the same thing thinking it would cut down on sound and heat in the car. Like what you have done. Know you are like many of us it is a long road to restore these car's. Good job.
