YY1's 1973 RL21G Satellite 3rd owner survivor

About this Mopar:

This is the way I found it via a craigslist ad in June 2012.
The PO said that several folks simply turned around and

walked back to their cars and left after opening the door to see the F6 green interior.
That was actually the exact moment I knew I was going to buy the car.
That green interior probably caused it to remain relatively unmolested for nearly half a century!

Episode two: WTF build sheets.

So maybe you noticed from the pics that this car was born without carpet.
The rear mat was very brittle and disintegrating so I was able to locate a rear carpet section in green.
I hoped to find the build sheet while I was doing the replacement...surprise (number 1).
There was a build sheet there but it was NOT for my car :(
It was for a car with the same interior, but not mine.
Needless to say, I was bummed.
A few weeks later, I scored a pair of factory bucket seats, in decent condition, and in white.
While I was putting those in, what do you know, there was a stack of build sheets under the front seat.
There were two copies of the correct sheet for my car plus a few others.
Closer inspection revealed:
A blank build sheet with "last job" printed on the margin...and with my birthday as the date!
A build sheet for a 1972 Charger. as bizarre as that is, it also had printing in the margin that said "do not build"!!
I showed these to my friend Greg Rager, former editor of Mopar Muscle magazine, and he said he's never seen or even heard of anything like them. To this day, I've not met anyone else who has either, including Randy Bolig, the most recent editor of Mopar Muscle.

OK, why can't I upload more pics.....

WOW, that is so neat!

Likewise I’d have ripped the owners arm off .... green interior with beige paint ? Bench and column ? What’s not to love ! ... typical period colour combo .... love it! ... is that a 318 LA under the bonnet ?

Green.....thats the favored color for padded cells isn't it? LOL. I thinks you scored! Nice car. I like em where you can modify em without someone going nuts!

Great car and lots of cool and interesting info. Congrats. Ps, I like the green interior

Nice car, I also have the same car with the same exact green interior but also forest green on exterior. Going threw a restoration and keeping it all the same.
It's my first car I bought 39 yrs ago and still have.
