My wife and I joined a drive-by parade today for Floyd, a WWII veteran. He turned 100 years old today and his family had to cancel his party due to the ‘rona. So his buds in the VFW and American Legion organized a last minute parade by his house this afternoon. We drove with our top down and there must have been around 100 cars in line as we shouted “happy birthday Floyd” and blew our horns. Floyd and his family were sitting in their driveway and yelled out thank you to us as we passed. His entire neighborhood came out to wave at us and see what was going on. Many of them went down to Floyd’s yard give him their regards as well as us. It was very inspiring to say the least! Happy birthday Floyd and thanks for your service!!!
