15 by 7" police rims on a 1967 Coronet

Hello I have purchased the 15 by 7" authentic police rims with the cheese grater style caps, I also bought 235/60r15 Cooper Cobra Gt's for the rear of my 1967 Coronet. My question is should I run the 235's all the way around? The other option available is to run a 215/65 r15 on the fronts and the 60 series on the rear as that seems to be the only size they make for the narrower 215, or at least in Canada thats all I can find.

I like the look of the narrower tires on the front but the downside is you can't rotate all 4 tires like they should be.

I ran 235/60-15 BFG's on 15 x 7 Magnum 500s front and rear on my 1967 Belvedere II.
Handling was great--no rubbing--acceptable steering effort with manual steering box ;-)

235-60s on the front 7in cops 275-60s on the rear 8in cops.

I agree I have read people have went with a wider tire but I didn't want to chance it. I do like the look of the 235's up front as well as others have posted, they seem to give a beefier look than the 215's up front .

Thats not true. I run a 275/60/15 drag radial on my 67 coronet. 15x8 wheel 4 3/4 inch backspace.

Rims and tires arrived thought I would post a pic of one of the rims, they are all identical but if anyone know the history on these and maybe what they came off of that would be awesome. I think they are going to look great on my Coronet...
