15x7 police wheel on 1966 charger, what tire size?

young noobie here, so bare with me.

i just picked up a set of 15x7 police wheels which are going on my 1966 Charger. whats the ideal tire size for them? i want to fill up the wheel wells.

i prefer to have all the same size tires, just so i can have the option to rotate my tires when needed.

Oh and is there any other hubcap that can fit onto these wheels other than the regular police hubcap?

235 60 15 is the limit on those because you have 7" rim with and tread with should be the same or close

I have 235 70 15 on my 66 Belvedere and it really looks good. Fits just fine and fills the wells. The Charger has more room in the rear than the Belvedere so you can most likely go with 15 x 8 rim with a 225 60 15. My 66 Charger is running a vintage set of Americans (15 x 8.5) with not a very deep back space and they fit fine. Same tires and wheels in the front do not fit fine.

I have run 15x7 cop rims with 245-60R15 all around on my 79 Volare wagon with no problems. The 245's fit perfectly and wear evenly. I am considering 255-60R15, at least for the rear. I have also run that size on 15x7 rims, they fit fin as well but the 245s make tire rotation (front to back) simpler.

I used to have stock cop wheels on all 4 corners of my '66. 245/60's on the front and the rears were 255's. The stock cop wheels could use a little more offset in the rear.
Now I have 15x10 cop wheels on the rear with 295/50's, fronts are stock cop wheels with 235/60 in front.
