15x8 rims on the front of a 73 satellite

I am guessing no. You will have to stay under 25" in diameter. I am planning on 15x8-3/4 on the 72 RR but will be using 50 series tires.

I have a 73 with 15x7's W 3 1/2" back space & F-60 tires, lots of clearance. I am planning to go 15 X 8' rims with a 10" wide tread tire. Depending on back space, I think they will fit. Before investing the money, I would purchase a fitment tool like "Percy's Wheel Rite", which you can adjust to measure clearances. The tool costs about $69 and I think they have them at Summit Racing. They probably sell it on Amazon as well, lol! Good Luck!

4 l/2 back spacing. Will they fit? Planning on running 215/70 tires on them
I have a set of 15X8 4.5 back space that I took off a 73 Satellite with P255 60R15 tires all around. They fit fine. Put them on my 72 until I got my strip matching gold wheels done. Picture is of the 73 after we removed them and put Gold wheels on it also. Second is the wheels we had on.

Curious why the OP would want 215 tires on 8 inch rims.

I have 215 tires on 5.5 inch rims, and 255 tires on 6.5 inch rims.

Not to mention they must have been a pain in the you know what to mount.

These are 15" 215 70's on a 7" rim. You don't want to put those on a 8" rim....just a hair over 26". I have more wheel opening though I believe. Rear has 15x8 255 60 15.

Was running 15x8 4.5 back spacing with P255 60R15 all around and NO PROBLEMS EVER. My friend is running 15x8 With P295 All around and also NO PROBLEMS

Also, don't put tires on rims wider than they are rated for. It'll make cornering shitty etc
