FOR SALE
Original 1962 413 block that has been magna fluxed and checked for cracks that needs rebuilding.Block is 40 over now & comes with crank bearing caps.I have checked the number on the block and it is from 1962 and from the research I have done I still cant confirm the early 62 blocks to denote the difference between the truck blocks or Max Wedgies???
$500.00 or best offer??

Does it have the foundry marks AAQA on it? Does it have the valve reliefs in it? the max wedge blocks will also have the CID followed HP or HPHC stamped on the ID pad. Must have all three of those to be a true 1962 413 Max Wedge Block, the 426 Max wedges are the same, minus the valve reliefs. If it does have all 3, I'm interested, if it doesn't, then its just a regular wedge block.

To be honest, I'm not seeing the AAQA on the front of the engine, but there is a shadow in the picture that could be blocking it.

Sorry to say it's not a Max block, it would look like the early industrial block and have the notches.
