For Sale-1963 Dodge 440 2door hard top-Price lowered to $13,000.00 FIRM!!!!!

This car has been a labor of love with thousands being spent on making it right. Car was built in St. Louis and sold in Texas where it stayed until 2006 when it was purchased by a guy and shipped to Canada. His plans changed in 2010 and I purchased it and brought it back to the US. Car still has all original sheet metal including all of the floors, odometer shows about 80.000 miles which matches the title. Seams are solid with no rust, frame is still covered with the factory under coating. Car was sent to the body shop and was completely gone over and received a fresh factory color 2 part paint job in Turquoise. I had thought about selling it earlier but pulled the ad but this past Thursday my wife suffered a stroke and I can’t take care of her and enjoy a car.

Sorry to here about your wife, don't make any quick decisions that you might be sorry for later. Give it a little time and the good Lord willing she will recover. That car is a labor of love and you will always be able to sell it later on down the road. Our prayers are with you.

Red, I'm so sorry to hear of your wifes stroke/health issues, I wish you all the best, I hope she gets well soon.... I wish I had the money, I would love to have that car, unfortunately I'm freaken' broke, taking care of my elderly Pops & a house that seems to need new stuff right & left lately, taking up all my car funds... Good luck with what ever you decide to do....

sorry to hear of your misfortune concerning the wife....... but....DONT SELL THAT CAR!

Really don't have a choice at this point.

Good luck with your sale Red, prayers and thoughts go out to you and your wife.

Thanks all...

I've had to sell a few things over the years too so I know how it can be. Good luck with your sale and prayers go out to you and your wife....

Sorry to hear the bad news. I thought you might have changed your mind a couple weeks back. I hate to see you sell it. I have a family too and they come first also. So its understandable why you have to sell just sad. Good luck!

This and cash.....?

I don't get it, if you can't keep the car because your wife had a stroke, why are you looking for trades? If it's simply to have a completed car rather than a car that is 90% there, I say keep it. You will find the time, you will NEED to find the time if you intend to keep your sanity. And any car you get in trade will need work in one way or another, that is how they are.

With what has happened to her the extra funds may not be there either. There are only so many hours in a day and taking care of her fills most of my free time. I am not looking for a project car, I wouldn't be any further ahead.

Hey red sorry hear about your wife and to sorry to hear that you will sell the car. In defense of Red63440 I see where is coming from. Sure the car is 90% complete but, to complete it will take more time and money than he can fetch. The sale of the car would help him/his wife any current/ future medical bills. Taking a complete (no project) less cool/popular vehicle plus cash is a bonus for him because he still gets to stay in an old Mopar plus he gets cash to help out or save. Take your pick. I think that's the reason he mentioned trades but, I could be wrong? At any rate and most of all best wishes you to your and your wife and a quick recovery.

So sorry to hear of your problems. That is a great car, I hope you are able to get what you need and are able to take care of your wife. BTW, I wish I had the funds, I would consider this car in a minute.
