Original 1963 Max wedge intake manifold modified to fit standard style 440 heads. Casting date 2 4 63. The manifold was epoxied and port matched by Performance Machine in Pomona, CA. Epoxy could be removed and returned to max wedge ports. Nice condition, no stripped threads. No cracks or breaks, there is some casting porosity at the right front mount hole as pictured. Is it modified to block the heat riser ports? They hang below a stock crossram and creat an internal exhaust leak.

You are correct. I should have mentioned that when the mod was done, the intention was to run it with aftermarket heads with no heat crossover.

I believe you could easily block the heat
riser. I use epoxy and you could run it on a production
head.
