    Looking for a 1964 alternator # 2098830 with a build date between Jan 1964 and April 1964. Need a nice restorable core with single pulley. Thank you

    I know I have a couple, but can’t readily get to them because of deep white dandruff.

    Pretty nice- looks like it has never been blasted or rebuilt. It's not locked up either

    I don't know. I have about 20 alternators laying around that were removed years ago because they were bad or were replaced with a dual field alternator.

    You have the old alternator, get another replacement alternator. rebuild by reuse old front cover with correct date. Test and you are good..
