Hello,
Have a 1964 sport fury and want to convert it to manual brakes.
The problem I have is the bolt holes look to only fit my old frozen booster and not the master cylinder alone.
Is there a special plate needed to convert back to a master cylinder only?
If so does anyone know where to get one ?
Thanks

Try Mo-Par City in Oregon Illinois, They have a few 2 thru 5 b bodies laying around

No special plate is needed. The master cylinder bolts directly to the firewall -- it only looks as if it won't. You will want to convert to a dual master cylinder; the single-pot variety really is not adequately safe. See info here.

Dan, are you talking about the "big plate" or the small aluminum 4bolt to 2 bolt adapter? I ask cause my 64 polara came with 4 wheel drums and had the firewall reinforcement plate.

Also, if I am not mistaken your brake pedal has two holes in the top. One is for the power brake pushrod and the other for manual brakes to give you more mechanical leverage which means less overall pedal effort.

That is correct.

I had only 4-bolt master cylinders in mind when I wrote my response.

Dan, I get what you you were saying.

Hello All,
There is a plate on the firewall for manual brakes only.
It is 10 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide. Its for manual brakes only.
If anyone has one please contact me.
Thanks
