Is the pitman arm for 64 polara with power steering the same as one with manual steering? I’m converting mine to power

Should be the same, but if you use a later power steering box, it could have a larger spline, and a different pitman arm would be required. 73 up B and E bodies, all C bodies, and pre 73 fast ratio E bodies used the larger shaft.

IMO.....I converted my 65 to power steering and put in a rebuilt replacement unit. The car has way to much power to the steering and has no road feel. The car is completely restored. I'm no expert in this field and Im sure there are some board members can advise better but I would look into something called a firm feel unit.
The stock unit pressure maybe adjusted but not sure. good luck
