1965 coronet 500 heater core replacement!

I need to replace the heater core on my 1965 coronet 500. Does anyone have tips or useful information?

While restoring my car I had mine re-cored, through Napa. You could also just buy another heater core.

Factory Service Manual and take lots of pics. And pack a lunch

Lots of sharp stuff in there

You can send your core to Glen-ray Radiators for a Re-work. It will come back like new, and fit right when installing. Ask for Bob S. You can tell him Dan from Lancaster, NY sent you...

MyMopar doesn't have a 65 Dodge Coronet SM but have a 65 Plymouth SM, are heaters the same I don't know. http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=109

Don't forget the heater control valve

i case you do theres a guy in wis. that will repair it.
