Will a later year (like 66-67-68) wiper arm fit a 1965 splined pivot shaft? Is the width at the bayonet end the same? I need a drivers side arm for my 65 Coronet. I understand the later year arms are longer. So, I was thinking to cut the end off of one and rebending it to match the length and angle of a 1965. If later years are stainless I could also cut and shorten the end. Then Tig weld it back at the correct length and angle. The weld could be smoothed and polished.
