Hey y’all. Just registered. Sadly, it's because I need to sell my Charger.
1966 Dodge Charger. Located in Duluth GA (30096), just outside Atlanta. Asking $10,000. I need to sell it before I move soon. Let me know if you have questions.
Numbers matching mostly original 383 car. Bought in 2009 from the original owner’s widow (I think). Engine and mechanical work done in 2010-11. Car has been parked since 2013 in a garage.
Engine: Engine was re-manufactured in 2010 by Jasper Performance but the car has been parked since 2013. Easily less than 1000 miles on the engine. 383 ci. with 750cfm Holley carb and Weiand intake, new cam and exhaust headers. New aluminum radiator. Has A/C but it leaks. Probably needs a vacuum canister for the power brake booster.
Transmission: 727 Torqueflight 3-speed auto. I think it was rebuilt by the previous owner. I’ve never touched it except to replace the gasket on the pan and change the fluid. No gunk in the fluid when I changed it.
Suspension and brakes: New springs and shocks in 2011. Converted to disc brakes as well with a kit, but calipers have rust on them now and need to be stripped and painted/powder coated.
Wheels and tires: Has 15” Torq-Thrust rims. Tires have flat spots from sitting and will need replacing. Also has a set of 15” Magnum 500 rims, but they only clear the drum brakes.
Body: Original red paint is worn through in several spots, but very little serious damage. 1 dent on the drivers rear quarter panel. Spots of rust behind both rear wheels. The rotating headlights will move, but tend to stick.
Interior: All original. Red carpet, white seats and trim. Worn quite a bit. I planned to replace it.
Other stuff: The fuel gauge is broken. Radio doesn’t work. It ran great when it was parked, but wasn’t properly prepared for storage. 1 rear side window has scratches, but I have a replacement glass. Also have all the original engine parts that were removed in case someone wanted to go back to all original.
