Can someone please help me with a problem. We installed a new dash harness. There are two black wires near the headlight switch. The schematic says rotating headlight switch. Does anyone have a photo of this switch or have one for sale? Apparently a previous owner took it out because there is an empty hole where it goes. All help will be much appreciated! The headlights were completely restored with limit switches and relays installed. From what I understand there are two switches left of the steering wheel. I cant find any close up photos of these switches. Thanks!

There's a headlight switch and a headlamps hold open switch which prevents them from closing when you turn off the headlight switch.
It's a normally closed switch so if you join the two together that normally connect to the hold open switch the headlamps should follow the lightswitch position.

Do you have any idea who might have one of these switches. We would like it to be original. Thanks again for your help!

Part # you are searching for is Chrysler 2809053.
NAPA carries them BUT they have 2 styles, one takes a long shaft and one short.
Those #s are ECH HL6568 (short) and ECH HL6571 (long)

Thanks, I did find a good used hold open switch. Should be here next week sometime. If it doesn't work I will contact you for a future yard pick. Thanks again!

Just find 2 terminals with continuity in the normal position and which open (infinite resistance) in the headlamps open position.
