I have a 1966 Coronet 440 that has the wrong column shifter. I have the correct shifter and when I knocked the pin out holding the existing shifter I could not get it out. Is there something else holding the shifter to the column and what do I need to do to remove it and replace it with the correct shifter. I am new to this site. Thanks for any help advice I may get.
