Almost all the parts are there. Missing a few trim pieces: Drip rail above drivers door, below the rear window, drivers side under the windshield, and the long trim pieces below the doors.
Car has a front disc brake conversion. Basic suspension components were upgraded with new shocks, bushings etc
The body is straight though there are a few rust spots. The car was re painted 18 years ago and at that time it was taken down to metal, and the body was in excellent shape. I have noticed minor rust at the vent at the base of the windshield, and minor bubbling in the paint in the rear quarters and trunk lid.
Engine / Trans Built 17 years ago, driven no more than 3000 miles.
The car was originally a 383 but that motor came with a window into the block so it was replaced with a 440. This motor was built by Grays Automotive in Oregon. Engine was bored .030 over, forged internals, ARP hardware, Mopar performance cam, specs unknown. Edelbrock performer series heads, intake manifold and carb, 750 cfm. Original starter was replaced by an MSD starter. Schumacher headers.
Transmission is a 727 3 speed, rebuilt at the same time as the motor. It shifts smoothly, has no known issues.
The bad - When I recently looked the motor over, two of the freeze plugs in the block were sticking out. I removed them as they need to be re inserted. Take that information as you will. The engine turns over just fine. I have not had a problem with the motor or trans other than the above. It was a very strong runner last time I had it out.
Interior – all pieces there except for a few pieces of trim around the edge of the seats. The seats were reupholstered with leather and cloth. All panels are there. Interior was originally red, panels were dyed in black. Original dash pad . Gauges are there and are working, the lights work but the switch is a bit touchy. Glass is in good shape.
Miscellaneous – Headlight motors open under their own power but need assistance to get going, so they need some attention. Tail light is intact and looks good. All lights working.
I’ll do my best to answer any questions.
