1966 hemi charger find

1966 426 HEMI Dodge Charger this was just listed I know it has the hemi but man is it rough. I think it’s a sign I need this white car.

With that price coupled with his attitude, he'll get buried with that car. Hell, they only bring in the 60s for a nice, complete driver.

Had a look at that listing, is that a regular k member in there?
Also, that hemi was not In that car.
It should be in the smoking Crack charger prices thread.
I know of a complete ,orig motor one for 30, and I thought that was high.

seems the 1st gen. Chargers builds/restos
are for the love of the car, some memory or emotional connection
more than value or price

this hobby isn't cheap, already

some are just money pits, rotted spaghetti strainers/rust buckets
& not a smart buy at all
(no matter the year, brand body style)
some with lil' to no parts availability
& now cost in shipping is nucken' futts
if you can find decent parts, not 'selling for extortion prices'
rust selling for gold prices, near 60 y/o parts
But that's all up-to the buyer & his/her skill &/or budget

I usually build for my tastes 'not for resale'
& deal with that when the time comes
I get the $$ out of my enjoyment driving,
and building (far less as I get older) & doing the parts search etc.

Then get bored & start all over again...

If the interior is complete and not too horrible, 10k isn't bad... And it never needs to have a hemi again.. could make a nice street car out of that easily

For a driver car that's just for fun.. why not first gen chargers are getting up there in price..

I've never seen debate before over a 10k pricing on a hemi car . Well, since the early 90s perhaps.
Like what are we thinking here, forty-five hundred bucks??

Not a bad price at 10. If you plan on enjoying it. Put a different engine in it. And the old slogan changed ,would be ,
ya it had a Hemi. . Regardless still a hemi car
This day and age. What value will these have in 20 years? The way things are going.
