I have not really taken many pictures of my car as I have been pissed off about the paint on it since it was done about 4 years ago. It does not show in these pictures but the recommended painter ( by several local people at car shows) did a shitty job and danced a DA down the sides leaving the paint (not the metal) wavey. It needs to be blocked and repainted.

This car has only 3600 miles on it and was never titled or licensed until I purchased it. Unfortunately the second owner had no business buying it according to his ex-wife, as he left it sitting uncovered in his back yard in the California sun for over 10 years. The original paint, dash top, steering wheel, and upholstery were baked when I got it. I can only imagine what it looked like when he had purchased it from the original owner's widow. It is sad that these things happen.

Most of these picture were taken to show the under side of this car. The only thing that I did to the underside of this body other than add frame connector was to power wash it and repaint the original primered surfaces with a cast iron paint that was the best match of the original color. As you can see, it is a super clean unrusted car. ALL original sheet metal and glass INCLUDING the windshield.

It's good to see such a rare and beautiful car in the hands of someone who will take care of it. It's too bad you didn't get it before the jerkoff before you had a chance to disrespect it and let all of the mentioned damage happen to it. :black_eye:

You know, I bought my 66 Coronet 500 from a gentleman up around your area back in 1989. He had a 66 Hemi Coronet that he was restoring back then also, but I think it was a white car. Did you sell a 66 Coronet with a 383 automatic around that time that included the cars original 361 short block? It was an original light green metallic with black interior, with power windows, power steering and brakes, a/c, bucket seats and floor console.

If so, it IS a small world huh?

Nope, not me. I lived in the Mesa, Tempe, Chandler area 1981-1998. I moved to Sedona in 1998. I have never heard of another 66 Hemi car in my area here in norther AZ.

I bought my car from the ex-wife of the second owner at the Pomona, CA. swap meet in 2002.

I create 3 ring binders for all of my old cars with the known history, documentation, decoding of the V.I.N., fender tag, broadcast sheet, (if I have it) factory supported production figures, factory brochures, old hot rod magazine road tests, original color chips, etc. Anything I can find that is pertainent to the car. If anyone is interested in seeing any of this info I will email it to provided email addresses.

Thanks to all that have commented.

I very seldom post pretty pictures of anything I own as it is just not my thing.

My wife once said that she doesn't understand why I don't take more of my cars to shows and act a little more proud of what I have since I have some pretty unique items. My answer to her was that I have these things for ME, not others and am not interested in trying to impress others with it. I have come to realize of late that over the years things have changed and many people simply don't ever get a chance to see some of this old stuff and have decided to post some of it for THEIR pleasure.

I have always been more about showing some of the detail items that are unique to some of the cars such as I have.

Glad that some of you enjoy the pictures.

Looks clean and ready to rock! Sweeet! I had a 66 turqoise Coronet 440 from CA a few years back! Such a solid straight car that it really needed to have a Hemi in it!

As I said in my post above, I thought I would finally start sharing some pictures of my junk.

If you look at my post in the restoration section you will see pictures of my newly converted 4X4 440 powered Little Red Express Truck.

BTW, how do you guys like my OUTDOORS lift. I have been battling with the local county zoning office to try and get a garage built over it forever but that is a loooong story.
