Hello everyone, I recently got a good deal on a Flowmaster super 40 817390 exhaust system. It is listed for 68-70 B bodies, however I own a 1967 with 318 and Hooker headers. I compared the underside of my car to the 68-70 and they looked very familiar. I began trying to install it this afternoon per the instructions included. Has anyone done this or have any input as to what I may encounter that may be different from the instructions? Thanks

Your gas tank is different and mounts different.

Your rear frame rails are slightly inboard than 68-70.

You should be able to work around those issues, though.

I noticed that when trying to install the hanger brackets near the rear bumper. Not an issue though, my plan was to drill a new hole for each bracket. Do you think I can still use the tailpipe they provided me with, given the gas tank and rail differences?
