Hi folks,
I recently picked up a 1967 Satellite 2 dr HT with a Console shifted automatic. It's rough, been in the bushes/trees behind a garage since about 1987. The original engine was a 273 with a 904, but both are long gone. I've just started collecting parts for it, but I've parted out a couple slant 4 doors the same year in the past, for my 1967 Police car, so have some leftovers. I have a couple different 440/727 combos, one from a 1976 New Yorker I am thinking of dropping in and another from a 1968 Chrysler ?? that I have been hoarding as a spare. My question is whether there is any difference in the linkages between the trans and the base of the sifter linkage under the floor/console? Is it the same rod, or different? I am missing the rod(s), so need to know what I am looking for. I haven't been able to get the trunk to open yet, so still hoping more parts were thrown in there... Attached is a picture of the car when I hauled it out of the woods.

We should all have woods like that! That looks like a good project start. A&A Transmissions near Indianapolis have a good catalogue full of stuff for Torque Flights. They will have any of the linkage pieces you are missing. Good guys to deal with; Rick Allison is owner.

I know there are 2 different brackets that mount to the side of the trans for floor shift linkage but can't recall at this time what the different applications are.
