Ok please help me I have a 68 Plymouth Road Runner and it’s a Bench Seat car I got a seat with it and the brackets were also from another car I am having issues!!
The seat mounts in fine in correct holes
But I thought the brackets were wrong but now I don’t know??? Also it has a seat belt looking sensor under the passenger side with a plug did not know if they did that in 2 doors in 68?? The other problem is the drivers side seat leans back far like it’s broke or something but I took it off and don’t see nothing major. Could it be a 4 door seat?? Any help on this would be appreciated I will post pics

That's not a 68 seat. Seat belt buzzers didnt come until early 70s.

The foam is a dead giveaway for a later seat....

I think 1970.....is there a metal tag attached underneath with number on it...

No tag. I looked everywhere! Will it work? Are the frames the same etc? Why the lean I feel like I’m in my lazy chair lol

The lean is due probably to the wrong seat tracks for the seat.....

I can't answer if the frames are the same.....if a 70 I would think they are similar but the release button would be different, my guess

If it was a 70 Seat wouldn’t the hinge release be on the top side of seat?
My bing is at the bottom

I am not 100% sure my initial thought was 70.....hence is why I asked if there was a tag to figure it out....it is 70 above though

71 up bench if it has any kind of wiring on it,. For seat belt warning.....hard to say if tracks are correct

I agree 71 up tracks look to be correct for 68-70 I wonder if this is what is causing the lean? Are the floors different in 71 up or is it the brackets??

71 up b body floor definitely different...they are e- body Cuda/challenger

I have this one for sale on here now....under interior parts
