1968 1969 headlight bezels

Is there a difference in fitment between 1969 Satellite, Roadrunner, GTX Bezels. I have a set of 69 bezels I tried to put on my 1968 Roadrunner-satellite grill, and they would not fit. However, I saw a picture of the 69 bezels with the 68 Roadrunner grille, so there must be a way??..................................MO
