That is strange. I have a 68 RR and a 70 RR and they are definitely different.

oem box(es) were mislabeled I guess. I have a 69 Sat. and a 70 RR. That's why I questioned this whole thing.

I think so , here is a picture of a 68 that I have and a 70 that I have. The longer ones may not be for the 70 Plymouth, they look different than the one in my picture.

When I restored my 68 I didn’t put them back on. I couldn’t bring myself to drill holes in my new bumper. Lol

I'm getting ready soon to drill my own holes for my 69. Practiced on an old bumper for confidence!!!!

On a 1970 rubber guard, there is a double-set which follows the contour of the bumper - at the top of the vertical drop

1968 Road Runner/GTX 2932209 is a “kit” that was available through the parts department/dealer catalog. Original numbers will be 2856560/561. See if these part numbers are on the guards.
